Next Steps South West is a consortium of thirteen FE and HE institutions across the South West, collaboratively working to support a Government funded outreach initiative (National Collaborative Outreach Programme) for young learners in specific target schools and colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The In-School Coordinator post will be based at the Pre-Degree centre, in order to facilitate their target students participating in outreach activities.
Under the management of the Curriculum Manager for Art and with the support of the Next Steps South West (NSSW) School Liaison Officer, the In-School Coordinator post holder will enable the facilitation of NSSW delivery for Pre-Degree students. Working with the PCA Institutional Outreach Officer, the post holder will act as a kay point of contact for NSSW related activities.
The post holder will assist with the organisation and administration of NSSW projects and activities within Pre-Degree, supporting specific groups of target students from Year 12-13 to take part in outreach activities. In addition, they will liaise with teachers, parents and external providers as required in order to support the implementation of the NSSW offer within Pre-Degree.
