Catering Technician

Herefordshire and Ludlow College Catering and Hospitality department is looking to recruit a Catering Technician to provide an effective day to day operational service to maintain the food stores, and provide efficient general support service to teaching staff in the Cider Orchard training kitchens.

The role involves maintaining and monitoring the stores for the catering curriculum and restock as necessary. You will also be responsible for preparing the kitchens for training sessions ensuring all equipment and utensils are available for use and ensure all equipment is kept in correct storage area and in good working order.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised. Part of the job role is to correspond with industry suppliers so excellent communication and numeracy skills are essential. Confidence in using the most common IT packages would be preferred.
