We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager within our Workforce Skills team, responsibilities will include overall management of the Business and Learner Engagement department; people management, meeting agreed budgets and implementing a robust sales strategy. The role is the driving force behind the work based agenda which includes apprenticeships, programmes for the unemployed and European Social Fund projects aimed at increasing skills. This role will ensure all opportunities from the Grimsby Institute Group portfolio are promoted.
We will need you to be an experienced manager with a track record within business development, Apprenticeships or Work based provision. Experience of people management and relationship building is essential as is a drive to exceed performance targets. You must have a full understanding of the government reforms and be willing to work with our employers to make sure we meet their needs.
