Hourly Paid Tutors in Health & Social Care
Due to the continuing growth and success of the CU Coventry, we are seeking to appoint hourly paid tutors in range of subject areas within the HSC department and commence teaching from September 2017. This includes staff who can deliver on our BA (hons) in Public Health and Community Studies, BA (hons) Childhood Development and Learning, Foundation programme in Health, Education and Welling and Counselling.
Applicants particularly welcome with specialisms and ability to teach in Public Health, Health Promotion and Education, Mental Health, Sociology, and Psychology modules. Also tutors experienced in teaching Level 6 Early Years modules focusing on children from 0 - 8 years and level 2 and 3 Counselling Professional qualifications.
An enthusiastic and inspiring individual from an academic or professional background, you will be required to teach during the day and/or Saturday through both face-to-face and online teaching environments. Hours of work are flexible, with students taught between 9am and 1pm and 2pm and 6pm on weekdays, with 8 hours of student contact on Saturdays.
You will be self-motivated and able to work flexibly to deliver outstanding teaching and classroom support to students. We welcome staff who embrace the use of digital enhanced learning to inspire and motivate student learning. You need to be academically qualified, hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to gain one) and/or have relevant professional experience.
