Gloucester- Hartpury Women's Rugby Physiotherapist

Part Time – Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon/Evening with Saturday match coverage

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Therapist to join the Gloucester-Hartpury Womens RFC as we move in to the Women’s Premier 15’s Competition. You will take the lead in the medico-management of the playing squad.

Reporting to the Head of Medical Services and the Director of Rugby, you will have experience working with elite athletes, female athletes or rugby players and have extensive clinical experience dealing and treating sport injuries and rehabilitation to the Gloucester-Hartpury WRFC squad. The post will be heavily reliant on strong inter-disciplinary relationships with coaching, therapy, strength & conditioning staff and players.

Ideally you will have a BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and be a current member of the Health Care Professions Council (or equivalent) with the appropriate level of Professional Indemnity insurance.

There is a requirement to provide occasional cover within the sports academy service. Therefore, a flexible approach to the working hours including evenings and weekends is essential.

We offer excellent benefits including continuous professional development opportunities, 25 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, onsite fitness facilities, free onsite parking and lots more.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.  All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
