Counsellor

This is an opportunity to join a busy and well established service providing long and short term counselling to students from both Further and Higher education sectors.  The successful candidate will also contribute to staff training and development, and work collaboratively with other student support staff on campus.

You should hold a professional qualification in either counselling or psychotherapy, have some post qualification experience and an understanding of current issues that affect students.  You should have BACP accreditation or UKCP registration, or equivalent.

We offer excellent benefits including continuous professional development opportunities, 25 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, onsite fitness facilities, free onsite parking and lots more.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.  All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
