SENIOR LECTURER, BA (Hons) FASHION BUYING AND BRAND MANAGEMENT 0.6, 1 Year Fixed Term
Ravensbourne is looking to recruit an adaptable, innovative and future thinking lecturer to join our BA Hons in Fashion Buying and Brand Management.
You will have experience in the teaching and delivery of a range content in the areas of fashion management including forecasting, buying, merchandising, textile knowledge, ethical fashion, product development, marketing, visual merchandising, retail and promotion.
Extensive knowledge of the workings of the fashion industry especially quality management of the supply chain, product development, colour management, fabric knowledge and testing, range planning, garment technology, sample sealing and manufacturing management will be specially important to the delivery of the buying curriculum.
The successful candidate will support the Course Leader in shaping, developing and planning the course. He/she will have a first degree or post-graduate qualification, in particular PGCE. The ability to design inventive teaching and learning strategies that bring these career roles to life will be essential. The candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to engage students directly with their chosen industry will be essential.
