Lecturer – BA (Hons) Graphic Design

BA (Hon) Graphic Design has a focus on the studio, a creative space with an innovative and engaging atmosphere. Students benefit immediately from exposure to the structures and disciplines of a studio environment, learning how individual and collaborative creativity combine to produce exceptional work.
You will primarily teach level 4 & 5 students and will be supporting the Module Leaders in the delivery and support of practice-based modules in drawing, image-making and applied illustration for print and screen based delivery. You will also need the skills or connections to build links with organisations to facilitate work experience, you will also plan visits appropriate to the curriculum. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including workshops, individual tutorials, seminars and lectures with a large audience. The role will require a commitment of 1-2 teaching days per week across the academic year. The role will require a commitment of 2 teaching days per week across the academic year.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject; have extensive knowledge and expertise as a contemporary practitioner in Graphic Design. Knowledge and/or experience of Graphic Design in an international context and an MA or studying towards one would be desirable.
