We are currently looking for 2 qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our Foundation Learning team. Our department delivers a range of courses including independent living skills, technology, communication, personal development, employability and enterprise. A commitment to working with young people/adults with additional support needs underpins all aspects of our work.
The post will include tutoring and teaching groups of learners with learning disabilities and difficulties on a range of subjects including IT, Sport andVocational Studies. The post will involve developing student's employability and inter-personal skills. An interest and commitment to personalised learning, a student-centred approachand experience of working with young people/adults with learning disabilities is essential.
You should have or be working towards an appropriate teaching qualification (e.g. DTTLS orPGCE). You will be committed to developing programmes that meet there requirements of the College's quality framework.
