Programme Leader Fabrication and Welding

Based in beautiful Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Coast College is a small friendly college, part of the Grimsby Institute Group which is a large, innovative, and financially sound organisation. We are officially “good” and aim to be an “outstanding” educational provider in the next two years.

We are looking for a committed Programme Leader for Fabrication and Welding to join Yorkshire Coast College at an exciting moment in its development. The College is currently preparing for its move to a new campus and will be undertaking a rebranding exercise as part of the move, which will see us become Scarborough TEC.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Leader to join our engineering team and teach Fabrication and Welding skills to our learners. Working closely with our apprenticeship delivery team, you will develop and deliver training on MIG, TIG and MMA welding processes as well as Sheetmetal and Platework skills. As Programme Leader, you will also work learners of all ages who are developing engineering skills, up to level 3 across a range of full-time and part-time courses. This is an exciting time for our department as we plan to move to our new campus and new state engineering workshops.
