Leeds College of Art has played a central role in providing education in the arts for over 170 years. Having secured its own taught degree awarding powers the College is in the process of gaining University title and will be the first specialist arts university in the north of England.

In September 2016 the College launched a new BA (Hons) Fashion Photography to complement our successful BA (Hons) Photography Course. We are looking to appoint a Lecturer to support the Course Leader and other team members to help plan, design, deliver and organise the programme. You will have the skills or connections to develop links for external engagement and including amongst others, live briefs, competitions, and curriculum visits to offer an excellent student experience. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including workshops, individual tutorials, seminars and lectures with a large audience.

The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant subject, demonstrate experience of teaching in creative disciplines; and have extensive knowledge and expertise appropriate to Fashion Photography as a discipline including emergent innovations, and contemporary contexts.

Interview date: Tuesday 1st August 2017

Leeds College of Art is committed to pursuing equality of opportunity and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all learners and expect our staff to share this commitment.
