Lecturer in Agriculture

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Agricultural Lecturer who is highly motivated, student focused and has strong interpersonal skills to join the Agriculture Department. You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of agriculture, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding. You will be based at Home Farm and will deliver countryside management and estate skills units, both in the classroom and in a practical setting.

The successful candidate will hold or be required to work towards a teaching qualification. You will also be a strong team player, have excellent administration skills and demonstrate a willingness to engage with external partners and industry. Ideally you will possess an appropriate degree and be able to demonstrate a range of practical skills. We will consider applicants across a range of agricultural specialties. Experience of delivering countryside management and estate skills within the Further Education sector is desirable.
