Lecturer in A Level Geography
We are seeking a proactive individual to work in the Sixth Form Department specifically on the A Level Geography programmes. You will hold a relevant degree and ideally have a teaching qualification along with teaching experience. You will be working alongside a highly motivated group of people who are committed to delivering a high quality learning experience.
The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
You will be required to deliver high quality learning and teaching ensuring that you are maintaining standards expected by the College, awarding and professional bodies, industry, stakeholders and learners. You are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
There is an expectation that you will work effectively with colleagues (academic and support services) both within the Faculty and across the College, developing a teamwork ethos, that will enable the achievement of clearly defined objectives. Contribution to Partnership working is an expectation of the role. Teamwork and partnership working are seen as key College approaches.
You are expected to use initiative and creativity and contribute to the overall development, promotion and success of the College, Faculties, Academies and teams, both internally and externally.
