Visitor Centre Assistants x2

Fixed term to 03.09.17, initially

South Staffordshire College require 2 Visitor Centre Assistants to assist in the smooth running of its onsite Visitor Centre at Rodbaston during the school summer holiday periods.

This is likely to include 3 to 4 shifts per week, but hours are not guaranteed.  Our Visitor Centre is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm between 22 July 2017 and 3 September 2017.

There is also the potential opportunity of hours available at weekends from September.

Main duties will include:

• Selling and serving food and drink to customers
• Processing admission fees
• Clearing tables
• Washing up
• Tidying and cleaning the cafe and kitchen areas
• Operating the till & dealing with monetary transactions

The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a customer focused role, and be a good team player.  They must be flexible and available to work weekends and during holiday periods.
