New City College is the group of further education colleges in East London which comprises Tower Hamlets College, Hackney Community College and Redbridge College. All colleges in the group are graded Good by Ofsted, and our 3-college merger places the group at the forefront of further education in the region. This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious organisation and add real value in delivering a high quality finance service to our staff, students and stakeholders.  You will be responsible for developing the College's finance strategies and managing the implementation of these strategies across the College. You will lead the finance function across the College, providing an effective and efficient finance service to the College and maintaining and monitoring the College's internal control systems.

You will bring significant experience gained at a senior level of directing the finances of a business or organisation of comparable scale and complexity. You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to deliver a high quality finance function whilst also adding strategic value to the College's wider corporate vision to continue to ensure financial viability. You will have the ability to work within a College culture and a commitment to the vision, values, and ambitions of New City College and of our communities. You will also the ability to manage staff performance and coach individuals to reach their full potential.
