London South East Colleges incorporates Bromley College and the former Bexley College and Greenwich Community College, with campuses across South East London. We deliver high quality education and skills training throughout the region and are committed to attracting and retaining the very best staff talent.
We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to work in partnership with managers, promoting excellent human resource and people practices, providing advice and guidance on all employment matters in line with all policy, procedures and legal requirements.
The candidate must be able to provide comprehensive, accurate and timely advice, support, guidance and information to managers to enable them to make decisions on employment matters, terms and conditions, employee relations issues and organisational policy and procedures.
The candidate will also work as a member of the HR team providing a customer focussed, effective and comprehensive HR service for staff and other stakeholders and contribute to the successful delivery of the HR operational plan. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified (or demonstrate a commitment to working towards this) and will have relevant HR experience working in a busy and demanding role.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a stimulating work environment, a generous annual leave scheme in addition to Bank and Public Holidays and a Christmas closure period, travel season tickets and discount on a selection of membership deals to local Bromley Mytime Leisure Centres.
As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' CRB check and a List 99 check, which confirms there is no barring in place.
