Associate Lecturer in Music

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced lecturer in music to join our growing team at The Northern School of Creative Industries.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced teacher as well as an accomplished musician. They will hold a degree in music, music production or a related subject. Current experience of music performance or production is essential.

As an experienced teacher you will teach on practical music modules across the growing provision in HND in Music and planned BA (hons) Music and Creative Industries courses. The role involves the preparation, delivery and assessment of teaching and learning as well as leading Faculty wide music groups and ensembles.

You will have the ability to provide a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Experience of teaching on Level 4 – 6 courses is essential.

The NSCI actively promotes a collaborative approach, and you will be expected to contribute to creative projects with colleagues from across the School and wider Faculty.
