We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and well organised teacher to contribute to the teaching of sport. This post is fixed term for one year due to a projected increase in student numbers.

As a college, we are ambitious for our students and we are seeking to appoint staff who can bring the right blend of flexibility, commitment and vision.

We are a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic team of staff, currently comprising five teachers (four full time), supported by a Sports Development Coordinator. The department is located in the BHASVIC Sports Centre, which opened in April 2003. This features a superb sports hall, two classrooms (both fully equipped with computers), a fitness room, changing rooms, an equipment room, a staff office, as well as a dance studio and a café. Approximately 350 students study within the department each year.

Interviews will take place on Monday 10 July.

BHASVIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
