New City College is the group of further education colleges in East London which comprises Tower Hamlets College, Hackney Community College and Redbridge College. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated and versatile leader to provide the College community with managed access to comprehensive, reliable, relevant and up-to-date learner information, in order to support management decision-making. You will lead the MIS Function to provide clear direction and sharing expertise on use of data and seek opportunities for continuous improvement of the service, as the College develops and the funding regime evolves. You will contribute to the strategic leadership and development of College provision and in particular inform the Senior Management Team and curriculum managers of the implications of changes in the provision or the funding methodology.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the post holder will have the vision, planning and management skills necessary to lead a successful MIS team.
We expect successful applicants to be organised and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be qualified to at least degree level and/or equivalent, with an extensive experience in FE funding. You will also the ability to manage staff performance and coach individuals to reach their full potential.
