We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join Scarborough TEC’s Casual Bank at an exciting moment in its development. The College is currently preparing for its move to a new campus, alongside a rebranding exercise that will see Yorkshire Coast College become Scarborough TEC.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, organised, efficient and capable of dealing with the complexities of working within a fast paced Higher and Further Education setting.

We are looking to appoint to a Casual Learning Practitioner to deliver high quality teaching and learning in our Painting and Decorating department during times of increased workload, to cover annual leave and sickness.

We are seeking a experienced Learning Practitioner to join our engineering team and teach Fabrication and Welding skills to our learners. Working closely with our apprenticeship delivery team, you will develop and deliver training on MIG, TIG and MMA welding processes as well as Sheetmetal and Platework skills. As Learning Practitioner, you will also work learners of all ages who are developing engineering skills, up to level 3 across a range of full-time and part-time courses. This is an exciting time for our department as we plan to move to our new campus and new state engineering workshops.

Candidates must have recent practical experience in the appropriate industry / profession as well as at least level 2 in Maths and English and a level 3 qualification in their vocational area. Successful candidates must have a willingness to undertake a level 5 qualification in their subject area within 2 years and must hold an assessor qualification.
