Part Time Tutors for Adult Recreational Courses

As part of the ongoing development and growth of our Adult & Community Learning Provision, we are seeking to appoint Part Time Tutors for Adult Recreational Courses.

We are currently seeking to recruit part-time tutors to deliver one or more evening classes at our Hereford campus as part of our Adult & Community Learning offer.  Classes can be in any subject, dependent on the resources and facilities the college is able to provide on-site.

Classes are held in the evenings (Tues, Wed or Thurs to suit) and typically run for 8 -10 weeks in each academic term (up to 2 hrs / week).  All courses run subject to a minimum enrolment target.

Classes are typically aimed at Beginners and those with no prior experience in the subject.  Intermediate and Advanced classes in the same subject may also run / be developed, subject to demand.  Students are adults from 19 to 90+! 

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of their subject and credible experience as a practitioner. They should also possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Please clearly identify the subject or subjects you are able to offer in your application, and include an outline of the proposed content and delivery plan.
