Programme Manager: Performing Arts

Morley College London is a specialist designated adult education college located in Central London. Founded in 1889 for working men and women, it now provides learning opportunities to over 13,000 people every year.

As part of the realisation of the College’s curriculum strategy, Morley is expanding its offer to include higher education provision and is preparing to deliver 6 new Higher National Diplomas from September 2017. We are now looking to appoint a Programme Manager to oversee accredited courses up to level 5 in Performing Arts and other related unaccredited provision in Drama, Theatre and Acting.

Reporting to the Head of School, you will ensure students and potential students are provided with excellent learner experience and high quality teaching and learning; contribute to the effective monitoring, review, planning and development of the curriculum so that it meets students’ needs and the College’s financial objectives; and provide clear managerial leadership to all staff in the programme.

With an appropriate teaching qualification and subject specific qualification and/or expertise at degree level or above, you will have solid experience of delivering high quality teaching in a relevant subject to groups of adults of mixed abilities. You also have the ability to effectively lead a team of academic staff and to develop the curriculum and create new partnerships that will enhance the student experience and increase market share.
