We currently run a Level 3 and BA (hons) in Digital Design and Games and are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, pro-active, highly organised and effective Lecturer / Course Leader for aspects of this delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity in a thriving and successful part of the School and you will teach and lead in some or all of the following areas; Computer Games Design, 3D Modelling and Character Design / Animation, Special Effects, Web Design and Authoring Skills, Graphic Design and Digital Art.

We’re looking for an individual who has a good understanding or the ability to teach and create tutorials on a range of software and hardware including Maya and other 3D related design software, Adobe suite, Game engine software, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress, motion-capture, green screen and VR hardware. You should be qualified to degree level (as a minimum) in a relevant subject area and have a thorough understanding of what makes for excellent evidence based teaching, learning and assessment in your field.

Hardworking and flexible, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills along with a keen eye for detail. The ability to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines and being receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving is paramount.
