We are looking for a Lecturer in Electronic / Electrical Engineering to join our busy Higher Education team at a time when the STEM agenda is gathering pace. We offer engineering courses ranging from HNC to BEng with Honours, with streams including; Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotic and Mechatronics. This is an exciting and dynamic time for the industry as a whole and we here at UCBC are reflecting this with a full schedule of validation to ensure currency and relevance so that our provision will meet the challenges of today’s job market.

You will play a key role in the teaching team on the engineering programmes and more widely across the School of Health, Science and Technology. With a Master’s degree in a relevant field of engineering, you will demonstrate a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the engineering sector. You must have relevant industrial or professional experience and experience of contributing to learning, teaching and assessment within a higher education setting.

The starting salary is negotiable within the salary scale of 23 to 37 and is dependent on experience and skills. A £3,000 per annum Market Premium payment is also attached to this role, which will be reviewed every 12 months.
