Fixed term for 12 months in the first instance
This role will have a particular focus on supporting the Equine Centre in all aspects of administration and organisation. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all Equine Centre enquiries, be responsible for organising meetings, maintaining and updating database and other systems, producing correspondence, reports, invoices and other documents and liaising closely with other college departments, staff, and external organisations as required by the Equine Centre Manager.
Working with the Equine Centre staff the post holder will provide practical support, ensuring that the horses at the Equine Centre are kept at the standards in line with BHS best practice, carry out the day-to-day operation and activities associated with the Equine Centre as required by the Equine Centre Manager.
Working a 5 out of 7 day week with the occasional requirement to work weekends. To be part of an early and late rota working at the Equine Centre maintaining high standards in the care and training of our horses. The post holder will need to possess a minimum of BHS Stage 2 Care.
On-site accommodation in a shared house may be available.
The post holder will be based at the Equine Centre, Sparsholt campus
