Food Technician - Storekeeper

The Hospitality, Food and Enterprise Career College opened in 2014 and is based at London South East Colleges' Orpington Campus. The Centre piece of the Career College is BR6 - a stunning, student-led restaurant in Orpington Town Centre. The Career College has just completed the second phase of its expansion, opening a new training kitchen, café and shop

Due to the expansion of the academic and commercial outlets, we are seeking a new storekeeper to manage, support and oversea the operational running of all commercial outlets, both current and future projects, this will also include administration and financial aspects.

These reliabilities will include the efficient running of the storerooms, receiving of goods, compilation of orders, issuing of stock to all areas of the business (i.e. food and disposables), recording, stock control. All of these will be carried out in strict accordance with hazard analysis and critical control procedures (HACCP) made under the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995, the Food Safety Act 1990 and other current health and safety legislation and good practice.
