Business Development Adviser

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Advisor to account manage a portfolio of employers and achieve and deliver demanding targets by recruiting new business and proactively promoting a range of opportunities available to new and existing employers. This is a proactive role for a self-starter that has a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver agreed targets

Working with our apprenticeship team, the Business Development Advisor will focus on engaging new levy and non-levy paying employers and broadening the business brought in by existing customers. Applicants will have previous experience of employer engagement - offering employers a total training solution including Apprenticeships, Higher Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Commercial Training and Work Experience to meet business needs.

A proven track record of meeting annual targets, the ability to deliver an outstanding level of customer service and a passion for apprenticeships and quality are all essential to be successful in this role.

The role will involve work across the whole of LSEC and South London to meet with employers and to work with the whole College group.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' CRB check and a List 99 check, which confirms there is no barring in place.
