Nursery Room Leader

To work alongside and support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager/Room Leader to develop the Nursery, to provide good quality childcare in line with OFSTED, Every Child Matters and the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.

To motivate, lead and supervise the Nursery staff, support curriculum planning and to oversee the implementation of action plans. To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children from 3 months to 5 years. To act as a role model for best practice within the environment, to develop and provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.

To oversee and provide support to other personnel in the Nursery to help facilitate the implementation of the daily routine and to take the lead on ensuring sound liaison and excellent communication with parents and carers of children.
