Position: Senior Lecturer – BA (Hons) Fashion Photography
Salary: £34,956 - £39,324 per annum (pro rata’d £20,973 - £23,594 per annum)
Hours: Part Time - 0.6 FTE

Leeds College of Art has played a central role in providing education in art and design for 170 years. Having secured its own taught degree awarding powers the College is in the process of gaining University title and will be the first specialist arts university in the north of England.
In September 2016 the College launched a new BA (Hons) Fashion Photography to complement our successful BA (Hons) Photography Course. We are looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to support the Course Leader in the planning, designing, delivery and organisation of the programme. They will act initially as the Level 5 Year Leader; as well a Module Leader responsible for the quality and enhancement of the learning experiences within specific modules across the programme and will work with the course team to support the general student experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate independence and competence in leading and managing the programme; and have ability to teach at all levels within the overall programme.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of Masters level, have extensive knowledge and expertise as a contemporary practitioner of Fashion Photography including at least a national profile at exhibiting/ publishing their own work. You should have knowledge of lens based media digital equipment and software as well as proven knowledge of Fashion Photography career paths and relevant industry contacts.
