We operate in a fast changing and demanding environment. We are looking for an experienced Desktop Infrastructure Engineer with good all-round skills to work as part of the deployment team, providing 2nd / 3rd line support on desktop technical problems. You will provide low level fault finding and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems to roll out college wide system configuration changes. You will package applications (some scripting may be required) for remote silent installation and roll out, monitor, and upgrade Desktop infrastructure systems. This is a responsible position where attention to detail and precision are critical. You will be able to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines. You will hold a Level 5 qualification such as a HND in computing or related subject and have relevant experience as a Desktop Engineer, working in a busy, large user base, support department to predefined SLA’s.
