Adult Community Learning Tutor - Community Development
London South East Colleges deliver a broad range of both academic and vocational curriculum and is rapidly expanding our further and higher education and apprenticeship programmes. As we continue to develop outstanding educational services, we need additional enthusiastic, skilled and committed members of staff.
We have vacancies for Part Time Hourly Paid staff to teach on our Adult and Community Learning Programme.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference to peoples' lives through education and who are driven to help and support students to progress and succeed.
Applicants will have a good knowledge of the subject and industry experience together with relevant professional qualifications. Teaching experience and a teaching qualification (or willingness to complete such a qualification) would be an advantage.
As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been notified of the outcome of your application within three weeks of the closing date, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
