UHI North, West and Hebrides
UHI North, West and Hebrides offers access to a wide range of full and part time courses from access level through to degree and post-graduate level. We are a partner college of the University of the Highlands and Islands and we have 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye, and Outer Hebrides, covering an area the size of Wales. Proudly rooted in the culture, location, and landscapes we are connecting our rural and island communities and delivering relevant and distinctive learning and research opportunities, shaped by their needs and ambitions.
With no single, central campus, the college campuses and centres throughout the North, West and Hebrides of Scotland - from Stornoway to Kinlochleven - offer learners opportunity and variety in learning styles and subjects.
We offer an ever-increasing number of HNC courses available across our network of college centres delivered using a combination of video conferencing and virtual learning environments.
Our staff are as varied as our learners and all are committed to finding ways to support and engage learners no matter what their age or circumstances.
Key facts:
o UHI North, West and Hebrides was established in September 2023 as the result of the merger of UHI North Highland, UHI Outer Hebrides and UHI West Highland.
o There is no single central campus, but 19 College Campuses and Centres throughout the region support 9000 students.
o We offer a varied range of unique learning opportunities and courses including outdoor adventure studies, equestrian studies and golf.
