Our mission is simple; we exist to provide high quality learning and to support the development of the Highlands and Islands.

We are the largest college in the Highlands and Islands attracting over 8,500 students from both the immediate area and also from countries across the globe. In 2015, we moved to a brand new state-of-the-art campus, which will revolutionise our way of working and your way of learning.

Inverness College UHI is a key partner in Scotland’s newest university, the University of the Highlands and Islands. As a tertiary institution, the College delivers the further and higher education provision in this part of Scotland, a region which continues to see growth and development. This is an exciting time for Inverness College UHI. Our new College buildings on the Inverness Campus and at Balloch are now complete and our doors open to students. Our curriculum, from Access level to Postgraduate, is evolving in response to current and projected future demands, building on our already well-established and thriving provision. Our engagement with employers, schools and other stakeholders is deepening and strengthening.
