HE Deputy Head Of School: Science And Technology

The overall purpose of this post is to play an essential role in the operational management of the relevant School at local level and in the successful development of the reputation of the School in relation to the quality assurance and enhancement of learning, teaching and the student experience.

The post holder will work closely with the peer DHoS and Director as a member of the School Leadership Team with an important role to play in leading the relevant subject(s) area, line managing subject staff in making a significant contribution to the effective functioning of the School and the creation of vibrant communities of learning practice.

The post holder should be able to motivate and inspire staff to assume delegated responsibilities, ensuring a culture of high standards and aspirations which is underpinned by challenging targets, innovation, responsiveness and continuous improvement.

A high degree of flexibility and adaptability is required to perform effectively in the role.
