Duty Warden

We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for a flexible hourly-paid Duty Warden to become part of our Student Services department.

As a Duty Warden, you will play a role in the success of our students through:

  • Supporting the safe deliver of Halls of Residence, acting as first point of contact for students living in, holding and responding to calls and messages.
  • Supervising and promoting wellbeing services for students in the halls of residence and uphold the National Minimum Care Standards.
  • Maintaining information and resources relating to Health and Wellbeing, and ensure that it is accessible to students, both hard copy and online.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working successfully with young people and adults in a formal/informal environment and evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs, alongside the following qualifications:

  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

What is an Associate?

Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.  Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
