Hourly Paid Lecturer in ICT

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Information Technology and Computing to join our college. You will be responsible for teaching specific subjects such as: Cyber security, Database, Web Development, Gaming groups and Programming.  You will have 3-year industry experience including Digital Essential skills.  A formal teaching qualification i.e., PGCE, level 5, or be willing to work towards.  This includes the associated preparation and marking. The successful candidate will arrange, monitor, and supervise learners on all programmes, including educational visits and employability field trips.

About you:

You will have a history of teaching within an ICT (or similar) context to a high standard, with good knowledge and understanding of Digital Essentials skills. Have personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of units in ICT and Computing. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their exams preparation and Vocational studies.
