About the role:

You will be responsible for preparing and teaching on a range of Initial Teacher Training programmes within the school of Teacher Education, part of the Directorate of Employer Skills and Support. Courses within the school are offered from Level 1 introductory programmes to AET (Award in Education and Training), DET (Diploma in Education and Training) and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in FE.

You will also undertake observations of trainee teachers on placement, have pastoral responsibility for learners, and track their progress towards successful completion of their programmes. You will be primarily based at Enfield Centre but may have some teaching at Tottenham Centre if required.

You will be experienced with a record of accomplishment in assisting trainees to achieve high levels of success. You will hold a teaching qualification and have relevant experience in delivering and supporting trainees on ITT programmes, preferably at a range of levels.
