Deputy Examinations Manager

Capital City College Group comprises three of London’s largest colleges, with a separate training arm offering apprenticeships and training for London’s workforce. Combined, we work in eleven centres across Central and North East London with an enrolment of over 37,000 students.

We are recruiting for a number of roles in our Examinations Department to join us at an exciting time during transformation of the exams and MIS team.

As Deputy Examinations Manager, you will support the Examinations Managers and Examination Officers in the day to day running of the department.

This will include monitoring and maintaining examination standards and Awarding Organisation compliance; leading on the automation of processes and supporting the Examinations Managers with day to day supervision, planning and process improvement.

To succeed in the role you will need significant experience of managing large examinations and Awarding Organisation communications in an FE / educational environment. Experience of using EBS or similar FE management information systems would be advantageous. You’ll also be able to demonstrate the drive to achieve agreed goals in a fast paced environment.

This role is likely to be based in North London (Holloway or Tottenham) but will require regular travel to Group sites across London.
