The Healthcare and Animal Science faculty have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person to join our team as an animal care technician with some teaching responsibilities. This demanding role acts as curriculum support for a busy vocational area of Nottingham College.
 

About the role:

Teaching City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Land Based Studies, Level 2 Technical Certificate in Animal Care and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, the successful candidate will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues.

About you:

With previous experience of teaching, you’ll have an imaginative approach that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students, with ability to create innovative online learning resources is important as part of this role.

We’re looking for applicants that have experience in the animal care sector and particularly welcome those from veterinary nursing and /or animal biology background. Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
