Active Wellbeing Support

Fixed-Term until August 2023 Full-Time (37 hours per week), Term-Time Only (36 weeks per year) (Actual salary will be based on number of weeks worked)

Working as part of a fast-paced and innovative team that supports students in every aspect of Wellbeing, Mental Health and Safeguarding. You will be part of the Student Wellbeing Team working alongside a comprehensive team, but specifically the Active Wellbeing Lead. 

We strive to deliver a broad and varied range of extra-curricular opportunities and experiences to our students, to ensure that they develop the skills that will help them become healthy, active citizens who are ready to move onto Higher Education, training or employment. You will work collaboratively in this cross-departmental, cross-campus role to enable students to be all that they can be, through physical activity and participation.

You will support a network of Active Ambassadors and a programme of sport and activity available to all students across all Campuses that will engage all students, although the focus will be on inactive students. You will support the Active Wellbeing Lead to develop a positive rapport with students and help reduce the stigma and barriers associated with physical activity.
