CU Coventry are looking to recruit an inspiration, driven and compassionate individual to lead our Health and Life Sciences provision. The role of Head of Curriculum is a strategic role within the group responsible for improving standards, student recruitment and progression alongside managing staff well-being and performance.
The ideal candidate would have a background within Nursing, Allied Health or science with a passion for enhancing and improving the student experience. The individual sought will have already demonstrated an outstanding record with regards to academic and administrative skills in a Higher Education environment and will have primary experience in leading courses and line managing other individuals. Heads of curriculum maintain their currency in respect of the future HE landscape and will have demonstrated innovative practices with regards teaching, learning & assessment across degree courses, as well as contemporary course design to meet changing markets within the area.
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a passion for continuing development of both self and curriculum. Within the institution you will, alongside other Heads of Curriculum promote the reputation of this area of work, and the organisation. The successful individual will demonstrate an aptitude for developing new business and additional income generation within the respective curriculum area. There may also be a requirement for you to participate in teaching or academic development within the CU Group which involves collaboration at centres.
