We are seeking a pro-active and well organised individual who enjoys working with young people to join our friendly and supportive team. Based within the Employability Team, you would be responsible for identifying new work experience opportunities for students. Working closely with Section Managers, you would establish and maintain a database of work experience placements and organise the setting up and operation of work experience arrangements. Responsibilities will involve liaising with work experience providers, students and College staff and maintaining effective systems for the monitoring of work experience placements. The role will involve visiting employers’ premises and carrying out risk assessments.
You will be a be a good communicator with strong administrative and organisational skills, able to work on your own initiative. You will need good IT skills including experience of working with Microsoft Office software and databases. A full, clean driving licence and your own personal transport is highly desirable, as the role will involve visiting employers in the local area.
