We are seeking to appoint an individual with at least 2 years’ experience in a helpdesk environment to join our busy Estates and Security team based in Uxbridge to be responsible for the day-to-day running and general maintenance of the estate to ensure the safe and efficient running of the college facilities and provide a proactive response to customer needs.
Reporting to the Head of Estates and Security, you would work with the team to provide an effective Estates and Security function for the College, and support the College initiatives on sustainability and energy conservation matters.
Together with your excellent problem solving ability and organisational skills, you should have good knowledge of Estates management issues, with good general IT skills and the ability to maintain quality assurance processes and systems. You need to have a good standard of education, and ideally hold the IOSH Managing Safely qualification or be willing to work towards this. You should have an enthusiastic and positive manner with the ability to work to deadlines and have great attention to detail and accuracy.
The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
