WHAT WE DO 

The School of Travel, Food and Drink are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher Chef with the passion to inspire and motivate students to industry expectations. The department has grown significantly in terms of success and outcomes in the past 3 years and is keen to maintain this upward trend.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a chef teacher within the school of Travel, Food and Drink:

• You will be responsible for planning, preparing, developing and delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
• You will take an active role with the internal quality assurance process, to ensure quality is maintained in accordance with awarding body protocols would be an advantage.
• Your skills and abilities will be utilised to prepare young people for industry and act as a positive role model to enthuse and inspire.

YOUR PROFILE 

• You should have experience of working within the hospitality industry with a professional catering background.
• You should have experience of planning and delivering outstanding classroom and blended learning across levels 1-3 with a strong emphasis on differentiation to meet all needs and learning preferences within further education
• You should have the ability and knowledge to utilise various assessment methods in order to track and monitor progress and distance travelled.
• You should have the skills and knowledge to effectively manage the classroom environment, recognising and implementing acceptable boundaries

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and you were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020, you have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to prove your right to work in the UK with your passport and identity card up until 30 June 2021. 

There is no change to immigration and right to work for British and Irish Citizens.
