We are looking to recruit an experienced and inspirational Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer Assessor to design, develop and deliver a range of engaging learning programmes. We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding standards of teaching, and to play a major part in our long-term future.  The role will include classroom and workshop delivery and onsite assessment of apprentices, in their workplace.

Candidates will have sound industry experience and have relevant professional qualifications up to Level 3 including TAQA or equivalent. Previous experience of teaching mixed ability groups in the subject area would be an advantage, however, support with teacher training is available for candidates looking to develop a career in teaching.

Candidates should have effective communication skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be fully committed to working with young people.

A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
