Nottingham College has several exciting opportunities to become a Learning Facilitator, working within our Learning Resource Centres, being part of our journey to excellence. We are looking for enthusiastic, welcoming and customer-focussed people from all backgrounds to join our team, working at one of our campuses across the city.

If you are passionate about helping others and supporting learners to achieve their full potential, then there has never been a better time to join our team. In this new and rewarding role you will be part of our Learning Resource Team helping students to develop a wide range of skills, to study independently, and use a range of different software packages, applications and technologies to enhance learning. You will be providing support, both face to face and online to our students, facilitating both planned and independent learning opportunities.

A Learning Facilitator is the go-to person to support within the Learning Resource Centres for digital learning, taking the lead on digital initiatives, projects and promoting the use of new technologies. This role will work closely with our Learning Technology Coaches, who support our employees, to ensure we are meeting the needs and expectations of curriculum delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to further shape our next generation of learners. Every year, thousands of students join us on courses that are designed to further their career prospects, enable transition to higher education or simply satisfy a desire to learn new skills and support wellbeing. Our colleagues go above and beyond to ensure that our students get the best possible support to enable them to reach their ambitions. If you are hard-working, motivated and approachable with good communication skills this is potentially the job for you!

The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria at application stage from the person specification. Please ensure that you have a look at this specification attached to the Role Profile and complete your application directly from this, as these specifications are an integral part of the selection process.

For further details on this post which the job description and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact Safdar Khan on Safdar.khan@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.
