We require a new full time, permanent member of staff with expertise in Electromechanical/Mechatronic Engineering. Ideally additional knowledge of Design, Manufacturing, Robotics, AI and IOT will be an added advantage.

Applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent industrial experience in relevant engineering discipline. Experience of teaching and supervising student project work would be essential as would possession of a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). Experience of module management would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, tutors and academics at all levels, both face to face and through online platforms.

Duties include teaching on and preparing materials for a range of undergraduate and/or professional programmes. Tutors are sought for courses that run during the day, evenings and/or at weekends through blended and face-to-face teaching environments. You will also provide support to senior academics for module delivery and assessment as well as outreach activities and Open Days.
