Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent on site facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

An opportunity has arisen to join the small but friendly Examinations team in a busy office environment, based predominantly at the College’s Waterfront Centre in Huddersfield. The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to undertake administrative and operational duties supporting exam management ensuring that the College provides an effective and outstanding internal and external examinations service.  This will include the preparation and submission of examination entries to Awarding Organisations, liaising with academic and support staff to ensure the accurate and timely submission of exam entries. 

An inquisitive mind would help in this role with the ability to question anything regarding the information being processed whilst carrying out your duties. It is a highly demanding job and will suit a person who can work under high pressure and adapt to changes quickly. You will also be part of the busy enrolment periods at the college when you will have the chance to interact with the students themselves.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) and and a minimum Level 2 (or equivalent) IT qualification.   The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
