An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful team as an Assessor in Childcare. The successful candidate will assess learners within the Children’s Care, Play Learning and Development (CCPLD) sector levels 2, 3 and 5.

You will be instrumental in supporting the learner to achieve the corresponding qualification and work with employers to ensure organisational and individual goals are met.

With experience of working in the child care sector and an understanding of the qualifications, you will ideally possess a level 5 qualification. An A1 Assessor award would also be desirable together with the competence to deliver and assess CCPLD qualifications up to level 5. Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) literacy & numeracy qualification is essential for this post. 

With excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ILT skills you will have the ability to deliver sessions to a high standard in order to motivate, inspire and transfer knowledge to the learner. With attention to detail you will be target driven with a strong focus on quality.

This post has been deemed Welsh Essential at Level 3 (see Welsh Language Level Descriptors attached to job description) however we would also be interested in candidates who are not at this level but would be willing to work towards it.

Byddwch yn drylwyr, yn uchelgeisiol o ran targedau a byddwch yn canolbwyntio’n gryf ar ansawdd.

Ystyrir y swydd hon yn swydd lle mae’r Gymraeg hyd at Lefel 3 yn hanfodol (gweler y Disgrifydd Lefel Iaith Gymraeg sy’n atodedig i’r swydd ddisgrifiad). Fodd bynnag, byddem hefyd yn hoffi clywed gan ymgeiswyr nad ydynt ar y lefel hon ond yr hoffent weithio tuag ati.
