We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative lecturer to join the Foundation Learning Faculty at a time of rapid change and improvement.
Contract: 25.9 hours per week, Permanent
If you are an expert in your area, and are passionate about teaching, we have the following opportunity
- Level 1 introductory Vocational studies with our16 – 19 year old learners
- Entry 3 Vocational Studies for our 14-19 year old learners
The successful candidates will have passion to create outstanding learning opportunities for those learners who have not yet achieved their GCSEs at grade 4. Each learner can progress and reach their goals and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping them to achieve these.
They will have excellent communication skills, empathy, understanding and the ability to inspire and engage young people with sometimes complex backgrounds to excel and achieve their learning goals.
The role will also include pastoral support, progress monitoring and report writing. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they can use new learning technologies and will continue to update their skills through CPD.
Ideally you will hold a teaching qualification, however if you are new to teaching we are able to support your professional development to achieve this.
